I just hope he sticks it out and doesn't give in to a settlement. This needs to go to trial and force discovery.

Correa went off yesterday, firing back at Bellinger saying he needs to read up on the situation before he opens his mouth and should've played better in that 2017 WS, then also calling out ex-teammate Fiers to clear some of the people like Altuve that are being grouped into the mess. He also explained the Altuve jersey ripping thing



Also Dusty Baker asked MLB to protect his players this season because he feels like they're going to be thrown at or injured on purpose

Manfred calling the WS trophy a “hunk of metal” and the league not doing a fucking thing has killed my MLB interest. The commish said that winning doesn’t matter and cheating doesn’t matter. The league has no credibility in my eyes.

I dunno, messaging from the league being “it’s not whether you win or lose OR how you play the game” makes me wonder what the hell it is about.

I tend to be super reactionary in the moment though. I’m sure once games start, I’ll be watching. But man, I find this league to be fucking miserable right now.

This just in, Mr. Commissioner: It isn’t a perfect world, and for actions there are reactions, and for the unveiling of unpleasant truths there are consequences. The players on other teams, some of whom felt directly cheated by the actions of the Astros, waited for the game to punish the cheaters. When that didn’t happen, they vowed to levy punishment themselves. This doesn’t sit well with Manfred, but he has no one to blame but himself.
