Brutal stretch coming up with 23 of their next 27 after tonight are vs teams above .500, and then the final 3 vs Miami to end the regular season

Do they still do coin flips to decide who is the home team in case of a tie? Or is it best record head to head?

I know this feeling, I had it once. I was at a game against the Pirates in 1998 that the Phillies were losing 7-1 in the seventh and headed into a rain delay. My buddy and I were chatting on our way up to the 700 level to sit under the roof top coverage to wait it out, he usually the optimist, and me the pessimist, but this night was different. Something told me they were going to win. And by “something” I mean something I had never felt before, and have never felt again; like something outside of myself whispered it directly into my brain, implanting certain knowledge of future events. I remember I started laughing. Something genuinely came over me.
They won the game in the bottom of the ninth by scoring 7 runs capped by a Lieberthal HR.
I hope yours comes true too; it’s a helluva thing and feeling. I count that night as one of my top 5 to this day.

Head to head, then divisional record, so either way, we'd be on the road

Wouldn’t they have the tie breaker on Cubs
