Please let the Wilpons own the Mets forever.

Andrew Marchand @AndrewMarchand
Jessica Mendoza has resigned as a Met advisor and will no longer be on Sunday Night Baseball. She will remain on ESPN, doing weekday games, among other things.

Seems like a well thought-out career move by her

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo
The most striking part of the Mets' $57 million spring training renovation may be the home clubhouse. The Mets are only using it for Spring Training, not for the St. Lucie regular season, to give minor leaguers a reminder of the status they're working to earn.

It's more than the clubhouse, they are renovating the entire park and training facility.

A-Rod, J-Lo retain J.P. Morgan in possible bid for Mets, per reports

Please let this happen, and please let it be as glorious a disaster in reality as it is in my dreams.

One of the few ownership scenarios that might actually be worse than the Wilpons.

Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Obviously the offense was fun to watch, but it was always the baserunning and defense that really made me love that team. They were all around good at the game. Something for the old-timers and something for the kids.

I assume this post is in the wrong thread, but I am having a fun time believing you were making a snarky comment about the 2007 Mets.

Actually I got the above image from this rather fun little article.
