The way ESPN follows golf you would think that Tiger Woods was the only one on the course.

He's only been the most popular golfer for the last twenty years and is the only golfer that moves the ratings. The majority of the golf world hasn't figured out what they'll do in the post-Tiger world.

Hey, I'm finally part of the target audience! I'm not saying it's right, but with Woods out I will maybe check in online Sunday afternoon to see who won.

Fleetwood with a big push, Speith slipping back at -1 today. Dutin Johnson's +1 spells the end for him. Rahm and Koepka staying close at -3. Lowry with a nice -5 so far today climbs to the top. Interesting tournament.

Nothing against Lowry but man what a mega leaderboard it would be if he wasn't there. Fleetwood on top. Koepka/rose three back. Fowler 4.

Something funny to me about Mickelson doing a 6 day fast to lose 15 pounds before the Open and the top of the leaderboard is populated with a bunch of husky dudes (Lowry, Holmes, Westwood)

I feel like Lowry takes about 10 minutes between shots.

JB Holmes shooting an 87 is poetic justice. Fuck off.

Rose and Kuchar were both +8, Speith, Sergio, and Schauffle all +7. As Squire said, the course won. And Lowry, who held it together brilliantly.

Think it's because he is the slowest player in the PGA

He’s painfully slow, knows it and doesn’t care.

Yeah, that's irritating if you're playing with him, but TV can cut most of that out.

It would be different if they penalized slow play.
