Between the Final Four and Masters I don't know why Jim Nantz even bothers to deal with the other 51 weeks of the year

Doing a top NFL game every week in season and the playoffs and SB every few years isn't so bad.

I generally don't have a problem with Nantz, but his hushed reverence for the Masters is pretty annoying. Probably the worst thing about golf, and probably why the Masters is my least favorite major.

So you prefer the PGA, a nothing major, over the Masters, on that beautiful and historic course, because of Nantz's 'hushed reverence'? lol ok.

Seriously. An odd thing to get annoyed by.

I'm with tv, although my favorite is the US Open, provided balls are rolling into ponds and getting lost in the brambles.

Nantz kinda sucks and the whole pomp around Augusta sucks but the course rules and this week rules.

And Tiger can't putt. Ya hate to see it.

The Masters is fantastic. Nantz and Faldo are tremendous.

I agree. I also like the British Open when it's really windy.

Looking at the leaderboard, it does seem like the course has played pretty tough for day 1.

Tiger leading despite missing a 4, 5, and 7 footer today. Looks just brilliant tee to green so far.

If Tiger can putt at all the next 3 days he has a real shot.
