And Hakstol. He might not be awful, but he's not great, either. Keep looking for great.

Hakstol's primary job when he was hired was to bring along the young players. He's done that. Look at this series, the under 25's have played well. It's the vets that haven't shown up. IDK what the coach can do to light a fire under their tails. They know what they have to do but haven't produced.
traderdave wrote:It was mentioned a few times above; it isn't so much that they are losing, it is HOW they are losing. Completely outclassed in every facet of the game. Last night, they literally looked like they would've rather been anyplace else. No fire whatsoever. That was basically Game 7 for them and they showed zero interest. For me, three guys can hold their head up today - Konecny, Patrick and Provorov. If I had wasted money on tickets to that game, I'd be writing demanding a refund. I'm sorry but you are not going to convince me that the Pens are THIS much better than the Flyers. It is clear the Pens just want it way more than the Flyers do.
Not that it matters, but I start Mrazek and I start Hagg and sit MacDonald in Game 5. If Coots is ready to go, Filppula or Lehtera sits. Let Lindblom play. Frankly, if Coots is anything less than 100%, I just sit him rather than risk a more significant injury.
