I like my take!
“I don’t coach losers, I only coach winners.” Mike Krzyzewski

Tom Brady bereft on the turf, it has literally been ripped from his grasp

I'll just say that the org is really doing the little things right. I mean for Lurie to hand the trophy to Doug and then for Doug to give Roseman a chance to raise it. And then coming over to the fans at the fence. Just perfect. I really feel happy for Lurie/Roseman who I really thing have always had the sincerest of intentions.

If they take Barnett over Allen I will lose it.

I'm really scared were gonna take Barnett or Harris with Hooker, Howard, Allen, and Reddick on the board

heyeaglefn wrote:Thu Apr 27, 2017 6:45 pm

If they pass on Allen it is going to be hard to defend.

If they literally take anyone other than Hooker Howard Allen Foster is completely #$!&@ retarded and they deserve any #$!&@ storm they get

No home playoff wins in 11 years. Franchise is totally irrelevant and the city loves them, for no reason at all. Good night.

So sick of this. Nothing ever changes. Ever. DEs. DEs. Always. Probably won't be activated for a month.

Philly the Kid wrote:Its truly a great feeling. I've waited so long. Unlike some of you, I remember SB XV like it was yesterday. It hurt a lot. So many great moments, wins, hope...only to somehow not. I remember beating Dal on MNF when both teams were 3-0 and Dan #$!&@ said "Eagles are SB bound" - all that has happened, RC losing two seasons, Fog Bowl, Jerome Dying, Reggie leaving - Kieth and Kieth and eventually Clyde and Seth - Jurevicious on Blaine Bishop, Drew Brees and Kurt Warner and the high and low of Chip. Beating niners 40-8 as we reach 7-2 in Luries first year and then end up 7-9 as SF wins SB. I've been based in SF Bay Area through 4 of their 6 SBs. The Pats cheating in '04 and TO getting that horse collar. And the great moments BWest pr, Desean pr, Vick w 6 TDs on MNF - Shady in the snow... RC punting and passing and escaping - Don with a 14 second scramble - beating Giants 10-9 n MNF after 10 straight losses. TO. Hershel Walker getting 4 plays of 90 yards KR PR WR RB in one season... Willie T, Andy Harmon, Sheldon Brown, Arkansas Fred, Being in a sports bar with 20+ Eagle fans and 20+ Skinz fans as RC throws winning TD to Calvin Williams - Matt Ware blocks a fg on SD run back to win, the Aikman INT in end zone to Willis to Vincent - TD. Wilbert's 42 yd tD run against Dal to get us to SB. Bill Bergey, Bill Bradley - a couple weeks ago I watched on YouTube the 1970 Eagles Giants MNF game at turfed Franklin field w Norm Snead and Cyril Pinder - like it was yesterday. Jerry Sismore, Stan Walters, Mike Quick's 99 yard TD - pickle juice - it's all still there in my mind's eye - and I'd wake up in my 30' and 40's and now 50's and be like - how do we not have a Lombardi trophy???

I'm sitting here today. And something is different. 2008 meant a lot to me. '83 meant a lot to me especially against the Lakers. But this is something I've been needing to happen for so so so long. Year after year, decade after decade, watching Denver and Pitts, and Dal and NE - and GB then to see TB? Saints? Giants - a monkey is off my back.

I hope there are more to come - but man this feels incredible.

Happy for you pal. I still haven't registered what happened but have been most happy for my dad based on all older seasons he went thru

Kobe's reaction video is seriously my favorite thing. You can hear the realization in his voice when it hits that we won the Superbowl.

Still can't believe we beat the Pats and their legendary QB and coach with Nick Foles leading the way. He was just so ridiculously good. There's something about a guy who's been largely passed over and seen as just average or even mediocre winning it all that's just so...... Philadelphia. As great as it would have been, I think it was even better winning it without our star QB. I get choked up just thinking about it. Nick Foles for goodness sake.

Been tearing up since before the game Sunday.

I felt once we beat Atlanta, we were going all the way.

It's the most improbable story of my life.

I hugged my kids at the end of the game and told them how happy I was they could watch this with me, we were all decked out in Iggles kit...

I still am tearing up listening and reading stories about people's reactions.

the day that never could arrive, actually arrived.
