Parking Lots: got into the parking lots around 1215. Madness. Seriously felt like a massive music festival, lots of weed, booze flowing like wine, people getting amped. Couldn't stop laughing at the various characters showing up, like the Vikings fan wearing homemade Yellow and Purple vertical striped overalls. Dude was catching a bundle of #$!&@, I was like "do you know where you are at?" Six to seven hours of hardcore drinking and anticipation made the atmosphere beyond electric. It was the most amped game I have ever been to in any sport and it started in the tailgates...
Pregame: went in early to the Pro Shop at 330pm as my kids wanted me to bring home Birds merch, ended up with two sweatshirts and two hats...and after the game two more Conference Champs t-shirts at Dicks for them. Bought a few programs for the nostalgia - how many times will this situation occur in the future? Walked around the stadium with my best friend, ended up watching the WIP goons for a bit before the gates to the stadium opened. I would estimate 5000 Vikings fans were there, a LOT of them were either naïve or were not properly warned about the zoo...more on this later. Graham, Kendricks and Jernagan were talking mad #$!&@ to the Vikings in the pre-game warmups as they ran off the field and the refs had to separate them.
Game: three rows in front of, a crowd of about eight Vikings fans moved into place. Felt bad for them. We had a good sized crowd of yobs, drunks, proles, drunks, asshat, drunks, and loud drunk asshat. Abuse started early with the Vikings fan wearing a Percy Harmin jersey taking multiple shots to the ego early and often.
After the Vikings scored, place went quiet for about two minutes, then the game started and the bedlam re-emerged. Never heard a stadium so loud in my life after Robinson crossed the goal line with his pick six. Could have blown the roof off an arena, a sonic explosion from the depths of Kensington.
Blount's touchdown run was a massacre. Burton annihilated some linebacker, Blount took Smith and chucked his ass like a ragdoll. Place went insane, Birds were feeding off the energy the entire game.
The Jeffrey TD pass from Foles was a stunner, everyone realized that he was wide open after Foles chucked into orbit...and no one was getting near to him...like five yards of separation.
Really impressed with Doug's aggressive implantation of the 29 second drill, the passes to Clement were awesome (they need to use him a lot more in the SB) and Ertz played like the All Pro he is.
At that point, the Vikes walked off the field and they didn't know what hit them. Players hanging heads, shuffling their feet. They knew this game was over at the half and their body language said it all.
I was in the pissed during the flea flicker touchdown, I think this was the shortest halftime in history...only 13 minutes? After that, the party just went to another level. The entire stadium started doing the "Foles" chant mocking the lame "Skol" chant. Everyone in the stadium just wanted the game to end, it was over but still had 20 minutes to play. No flags for the most of the game was awesome, there was a great flow to the play, and it was the way the game was designed to be played.
Into the fourth, the Vikings were just getting beaten up on both sides of the ball. It started getting chippy, Barr took a cheap shot on Lane Johnson - someone got his ass back with less than two to play and he had to be helped off the field. A lot of whining after plays from the Vikes, they wanted nothing to do with the Birds. Stefon Diggs made a super wuss move late in the game after a meaningless catch and run, he slid to avoid a tackle from Bradham (straight gangster him and Jernagan) and took massive abuse from the Birds fans in our section.
Post game was cool, with Terry Bradshaw leading the Fly Eagles Fly song for everyone to sing for about the 12th time. Lurie dancing was a hoot, Roseman was vindicated for all the #$!&@ he has taken (apologies from me as well, Howie, you revamped this team into something awesome). Foles was sublime, they opened up the long ball for him and he delivered...if Smith caught that first bomb he would have thrown for over 400 yards.
EAGLES chants started after the ceremonies and I heard a number of "WE WANT BRADY" chants as well all the way through the parking lots.
It was an unforgettable day of my life. One of the most positive days I've ever had as a Philly sports fan.
I think this team isn't losing again this season. The intangibles are way too strong. The talent is too strong. The fan base is too strong. We are doing this.

The #Angels have scheduled a conference call for Mike Trout so they can accommodate all the requests for Trout to talk about ... the Philadelphia Eagles.
