Kinda incredible that both go out for weeks within a week of each other. Good thing it happened before the deadline

From ESPN:

Mrazek, 26, is 8-7-2 with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage this season, but he has been heating up lately: 5-2-2 in his past 10 appearances with a 2.01 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage.

Well, let's hope that carries over.

Coots concussed? Looks like that kind of hit/fall.

That's an OPS, not a BA. Seems solid. :). He's two-way guy like Otani.

I think that is ReadingPhilly showing Braydon Schenn decking Coots in response to the notion that Hextall has won every single trade he's made.

Look up Morgan Frosts stats. This also opened things up for other guys on the team. Addition by subtraction.

Is Mrazek better than Elliot if both are healthy? Their stats seem pretty similar.

Elliott was playing outstanding when he got hurt. Like win a round or two fantastic. If he's healthy and can get a few games in before the playoffs, Elliott is the guy imo

Ah...missed that. Thought it was recent. That trade doesn't look great, tbf.

Too early to tell, and like it was said above it opened up the Coots-Giroux line which has been phenomenal. Morgan Frost looks like he could be a real player too. The thing that makes the trade actively string is seeing Lehtara's shambling corpse on the ice.

Fuck:

Philadelphia Flyers‏Verified account
Per #Flyers GM Ron Hextall, F Wayne Simmonds will be out 2-3 weeks with an upper-body injury, while G Michal Neuvirth will be out 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Hopefully he'll be back by the 7th for the Pens game. Luckily our next 7 include 2 vs Montreal, 1 vs Ottawa, and 1 vs Florida. Hopefully Mrazek can play lights out and Lindblom can add some spark to lessen the loss.

Didn't see it posted so.....

Bob McKenzie
DET guaranteed no less than a 4th round for Mrazek. If PHI makes playoffs and Mrazek wins 5 games for PHI in reg season, 4th becomes a 3rd. If PHI advances to CF, and Mrazek wins six playoff games, the 3rd becomes a 2nd. If PHI re-signs him next season, DET gets PHI 3rd in 19.
