@richeisen reminded me to look at the watch Roy Halladay gave me after his perfect game. He presented 60 of them to the entire team and staff. I had not had it out of the safe in quite some time. It’s a beautiful and special luxury gift for sure. But what is priceless is the inscription on the box “We did it together” Thanks - that says so much about who Roy was. He includes us all in his success and He appreciated us all. He cares about people and that means everything.

Looking back on it, what really sums up Roy is that he was a 2-time Cy Young Award winner who had earned $150 million, and he still went to the goddamn zoo with a fan and the fan's kids.

I'm not sure which one of you is ZWR (or if ZWR even posts here anymore), but I love that story.
