goalie pandas....Mason comes off with an equipment problem and is taking too long to fix it, refs gettin mad, Neuvirth gets ready to come in while Mason is standing a foot away, Mason turns around and comes onto the ice as Neuvirth is about to take over

It also helped to get another quality center in Filppula so Couts could settle better into his role on the team. He's been using up his energy on defense and then had nothing left for the offense. Not so now with Filppula around.

coots is mediocre on offense, to be generous. glad they realized he's suited to be a third line center and got him off the top two lines.

they're only 7-6-1 since the deadline and will probably be a .500 team next season again.
