One of my favorite athletes in my life. And he is a freaking Yankee. He was kickass for sure. And he bangs any girl he wants and was always just really nice.

I mean I like Derek Jeter. But that's just one set of fans that doesn't need any more Hallmark moments. alot of it has to do with being a Yankee, but not all of it. I'd be happy to see Ichiro get a moment like that.

Evan Meek's fastball velocity in September has been 91. That pitch was 86, up and on the outer half of the plate. The defense was shading him to pull and Meek threw it where Jeter could go the other way with it. Nick Markakis has a plus-plus arm and rolled one into home plate
