Sadly, it's been the truth. Oh well though. At least we'll get a decent 1st round pick.............

lol at that mock from earlier having them to take a goalie even if they had that pick.

yeah, they'd probably draft the 6'7" bruising center before a goalie

Hartnell had better not be on this team next year. If he won't waive his NTC then they better tell him, and mean it, that he will be sent to the AHL.

what team is going to take him? you're just going to get back an equally as piss-poor contract attached to another underachieving player.

Better than hearing how the injuries were the problem and that this team doesn't need any tweaking

no, but hartnall isn't exactly living up to his current salary. he's going to be hard to trade, and you're not going to get a lot back. it's going to take a draft pick to move him for a slight upgrade or cap relief.

A) I could care less about getting back value. He needs to go. Hell, getting back an AHL player would actually be better anyway because of the cap space.

B) Homer has shown he does not care about throwing draft picks into trades just to make them go through. And, in this case, I would be fine with him doing it.

C) He doesn't even have to be traded anyway. As I said before, they can just send him to the AHL. Then they get the cap space anyway.

So my friend who was at the game tonight, and the AP recap both say that there were patches of empty seats in the upper deck. What's up with that? Thought Flyers fans were as loyal as they come. Are they finally fed up? Nice to see Snider has run two franchises into the ground now.

I'm a Sixers guy, who casually follows the Flyers during the playoffs, but I wouldn't mind going on Friday night just for something to do if there are some nice deals out there on Craigslist, StubHub, etc. What's the deal? Are those tickets not even being sold by the Flyers, or are people just not showing up.
