Just got home.

Oh. My. God.

I still don't believe it.

Pictures and thoughts once I'm able to put more than one sentence together.

I know I did about everything I could to soak it in, but I wish it was still last night.

Instead of looking through the 1283923 topics from today, which one (if any) talked about the lack of newspapers in the area? I was lucky enough to get two copies each of the Inquirer and Daily News before they were wiped out....

I was able to get both papers today with no problem. Also heard that the Daily News was pushing more papers out by lunch time, not sure if it happened though.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

Yes, they both went to a second pressing. I just stopped by the Conshy Wawa on my way to pick up dinner, and the truck had just dropped off two bundles of each paper not five minutes before I got there (says the Wawa guy).

I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere here but it was really cool to see how friggin pumped Jenkins was after his double.

I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere, but the Phillies joined the 1999 Yankees and the 2005 White Sox as the only teams in the Wild Card era to make it through three rounds of playoffs withou losing more than a single game in any round. Pretty cool that the Phils are the only NL team to do it.

people are dumb - you can order reprints of any issue as it is - and they will definitely be marketing reprints of these.
