I'm all torn up. Really disappointed on the one hand, but it seemed like Myers pitched well and Shields didn't but we were in bizarro world. That bodes well for the rest of the series? Or something?

Did Andy Reid coach this game? (I'm sure that joke has been made a million times, but I'm too tired right now.)

It's worth pointing out, players only get paid for the first four games so they don't try to intentionally prolong a series. Umps get paid per game, I believe.

I reminded of the bleak days of early (and mid) September when the Phils were scuffling and then I think about our current situation - 1 game in the bag in the WS with three coming up at home.
