They have a .625 BABIP for the game, and only two of the six hits were hard-hit -- Manny's single and the Furcal home run. Other than that, they were grounders that found a hole, a good piece of hitting on the part of Casey Blake, and a DeWitt bloop double that stayed just inside fair territory.
He didn't even pitch that poorly against the Brewers. Two first-inning walks were what did him in; other than that, he shut them down.
I'd give him another start because, frankly, what are your other options? Hamels isn't going to pitch on short rest. Myers is arguably just as lucky as Moyer is unlucky. And I'm not keen on Blanton, though if Moyer is going to be skipped, he may as well be the guy.
WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE GAME DIDN'T YOU SEE THERE WAS ALMOST A FIGHT
All I saw were gentleman sitting down and rationally discussing their differences like mature adults.
