Phillies @ Dodgers NLCS Game 3 Threat

Postby MattS » Sun Oct 12, 2008 21:22:54

manny and kuroda should both be out of the game and victorino should get a fucking medal of honor for not charging the mound and letting things get out of hand.

So Fox totally staged that, right? I mean, Manny Ramirez in the middle of a benches-emptying situation?

Has manny actually fought anyone under the age of 65? or does he always spout off behind 30 teammates?

Now you need a Designated Plunker (Eyre?) 'cause he's gonna get tossed. Where's Seanez when you need him?

I am having a hard time blaming this entirely on Moyer. Honestly, it was a bit of bad luck and an otherwise good approach by the Dodgers. They have a .625 BABIP for the game, and only two of the six hits were hard-hit -- Manny's single and the Furcal home run. Other than that, they were grounders that found a hole, a good piece of hitting on the part of Casey Blake, and a DeWitt bloop double that stayed just inside fair territory.

He didn't even pitch that poorly against the Brewers. Two first-inning walks were what did him in; other than that, he shut them down.

I'd give him another start because, frankly, what are your other options? Hamels isn't going to pitch on short rest. Myers is arguably just as lucky as Moyer is unlucky. And I'm not keen on Blanton, though if Moyer is going to be skipped, he may as well be the guy.

I could go for a Victorino cleats up takeout slide on Furcal, or something.

I'm dying for someone to throw one at Manny's ribs. Please. Please. Please. Who will do it?
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
