you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Couldn't have a better time for fall break from West Chester. Time to live it up at home baby!

So my wife and I took the day off of work today as she had an appointment this morning and we were heading up to her parents' in upstate NY for the weekend. We got on the road at about 10 AM, figuring even with stops to feed and change the kid we would make it in time for the start of the game. Well, we got a flat tire in some backwater north of Scranton and as it turns out my wife's car's tires are an oddball size, it took several hours to get to a place that had one in stock and get it replaced. We didn't get back on the road until almost 4 PM. We got to her parents' place in time to see pitch to Nomar, and that's it.

Good game, eh?

I think I saw a dead guy right after the game

some poor fellow fell over the railing leaving the game and fell at least 35 feet to the concrete below (from about row 7 or 8 on the 400 level to the concourse of the 300 level.

I just missed seeing his fall by about 30 second but saw him lying there and not moving, I hope the guy was merely unconsious

i saw the same guy. i don't think he was dead. they gave him an IV, and he seemed to be moving his fingers and his legs a tiny bit, but his eyes were shut. they were running a lot of tests on him, but i couldn't see much. i didn't wait around too long. very sobering though after the big win.

they were bringing out a stretcher and they started clearing everybody out, so i didn't see much more than that, but they were checking him out a lot and i don't think they'd be giving him an IV if he were dead and i'm pretty sure i saw his fingers moving intentionally like if someone were telling him "see if you can move your fingers", not just twitching or something.

Geez. That is awful. Im trying to picture where this was at however. The only place I can think that you can fall from 400 level seats to the concorse below is in Right field between the outfield sections and the sections in foul territory. Is this where it occurred? Not that it matters, but out of morbid curiousity.

sect 419 behind home

he fell just over the railing where the edge of 419 over hung the steps to the concourse, and it's literally a 3 feet gap at most and a freak accident to say the least
