Brewers @ Phils 2008 NLDS Game 2 Threat

Postby viper » Thu Oct 02, 2008 23:16:43

Who would have home field advantage in the NLCS if the Phillies face the Dodgers (probably important since the Phillies swept the Dodgers @ PHI and the Dodgers swept the Phillies @ LAD)

The CC chant was amazing. I almost impregnated a stranger by accident when Victorino hit the grand slam

We had a good time here, too. Image

There were other guys chanting "CHEESESTEAK CHEESESTEAK CHEESESTEAK" whenever Fielder came up. Some trash ended up on the field and Fielder was trying to pick it up and missed, this dude absolutely screams "PICK THAT UP FAT BOY".

I was surrounded by some pretty freaking funny people. I guess that's how life is down on the 100 level.

I don't know how I'm gonna handle the off day. I suppose I could get some work done.

I just realized I told a friend earlier that I thought we were going to get 4 or 5 runs off Sabathia and win 5-2 or 5-3. He got back to me a few minutes ago. Anyone want some lottery numbers?

I sat right behind the Brewers dugout. CC's face coming off the mound in the 2nd and 3rd was priceless.

Why not just go storm Normandy and get shot in the face while you're at it

watching C.C. after every single pitch in the second inning was great. the crowd was obviously getting to him. step off, wipe his fat forehead off. get on the rubber and throw a ball.

I do like that the national media will question his "grit" in the playoffs now, not the fact that he threw 45,000 innings in the regular season
