somebody think of a good thread title involving joel embiid believing george w. bush knocked down the world trade center. we should make it the next big meme. nothing concrete in my head but something involving "Twin Towers" would be a nice pun.

I think Embiid is more into The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

think Kilpatrick, Ware, and maybe Roberts are the fringe dudes I like from Summer League

Varnado is guaranteed next year, right?

now that's Jimmer is gone, Marshon Brooks is floating around and is kinda fun to watch even though he's not so good

He did arrive late and then had to go to china to play for the Iranian national team. He only had a few minutes in a couple games and really didn't do much either way. I wouldn't write him off quite yet, but I did think hinkie got a little too cute with those 2nd rounders last year and would've rather had a couple of other guys instead.

I liked him coming out of college and figured with his athleticism and nose for the ball, after a few years of bouncing around and learning the pro game he would develop into a nice 2nd big coming off of the bench. He did some nice shot blocking but his overall defense was average at best and rebounding simply unacceptable on both the offensive and defensive glass taking into consideration he provides zero on the offensive end. I would've been way happier holding on to dedmon instead.

I'm making my judgements based off I think, 3 games, so very incomplete, but he's looked very overmatched, unfortunately.

Thad

we have two good players that are really skinny

MCW
Noel

we have seven decent players

Sims
Wroten
Hollis Thomas
McRae
McDaniels
Grant
James Anderson

two guys that have been good but not in the NBA

Ware
Moultrie

Would like to see this line up:

MCW McRae Thad Sims Noel

Anderson was cut. Don't think we've re-signed Sims yet, either, have we?

Elliot Williams, Brandon Davies, and Jarvis Varnado have also not been good in the NBA but deserve to be above Moultrie on that list

also Jason Richardson is under contract. I assume Adonis Thomas will get a chance to make the team. Kazemi almost definitely has a better shot than Moultrie

I'm still holding out faith on Moultrie - dumb, I know, but I can't help it.
