crowder is one of those interchangeable players out of marquette that are better pros than you think and play good defense. They all go about 6'5'' and are strong

Says he talked to Sixers employees, investors and various people that dealt with the organization, spread among three continents, before he agreed to come here. goddamn

Says he's gonna do "a lot of listening" and is "humbled but invigorated" about rebuilding this franchise

Says the new coach has to invest in player development and have a shared philosophy of what the front office wants to do, thinks all head coaches are analytical in some way

Says the biggest reasons why he came here: 1) ownership and their philosophies, 2) Harris will spend $$$$$, 3) family was interested in the city

Says he liked that Harris publicly said he'd do the Bynum trade again if given the chance

Says Bynum will be evaluated the same as all other UFAs out there, but the Sixers have the advantages of insider info and the exclusive period to re-sign him

Likes "smart risks", brings up Asik

A couple of questions for Harris about Bynum and too many voices having input

Says he'll get up to speed quickly about the coaching interviews that were already done and those guys will still be in the mix......not necessarily starting from scratch

Says you can't go after big-name FAs unless you maximize the positive stuff on and off the court that would be around that guy, and just having cap space isn't enough

Says he loves the pre-draft camp in Chicago because it allows you to analyze guys that won't visit you, might drop to you, or could potentially be available in trades or FA down the line

nah, I was just joking. Crowder was a second round pick that some stat crunching website had as the #1 (or was it #2) prospect in the whole draft last year based on some analytic stuff so I was suggesting the PC was that Hinkie traded for him already cause he's a basement dweller type

I'll show myself out
