ritchie just spent 4 hours arguing with decamera on how awful the defense was last night, especially the run defense.

they gave up a few chunkers but did i miss where oakland had just one touchdown on one bad play, and 3 second half points?

Run D seemed pretty painful while I was watching. Just checked and we gave up >4 yards per carry.

Then again, we forced 5 turnovers, Raiders had the ball a lot and often started with good field position, and we only gave up 10 points.

Lynch is one of the worst backs in the league and they had a bad game but they were on the field a lot. i'm going to go by the weeks of good run defense over one average week where the defense was relied on to win.

if we win the turnover battle like all year, I'm going Eagles defense against most teams.

The "everything is fine" people are killing me. Raiders had 5 turnovers last night and we only scored 13 points, barely.

Foles is a disaster and everyone knows it. He's not leading us to a Super Bowl.

Yeah, I don’t understand how people can be upset with the coaches or anything, the season realistically ended when Wentz got hurt. Anyone who has any serious belief that the eagles should be a favorite or expected to make the Super Bowl /CG is kidding themselves. It could happen, everything would have to break right, but one thing that already did is locking up HFA. Can they win a playoff game, maybe! Can they win the NFC, it’s possible! Can they win the super bowl, uh, well stranger things have happened I guess. Whenever this season ends, I’ll be disappointed that the great year Wentz had went to waste on a non contact injury, but I’m gonna be hopeful for the future as it looks like we’ve got a good coach and a potential mvp caliber qb.

I agree but I also think it's reasonable to expect Foles to play better than he did last night. Like, if that's all we can expect from him he shouldn't be an NFL backup, which I don't think anyone thinks.

I was at the game last night so I don't know if this was discussed, while there is no excuse for a fumble and while I think Ajayi is consistently careless with the ball, his fumble was actually cause Warmack walloped him as he whiffed on trying to knock tacklers off of him.

Only thing I'm hanging my hat on was that it was freezing cold and the wind was real shit. Every throw from both qb's were absolute ducks every time. The punts and kickoffs were awful as well.

Being home for the playoffs is a blessing and a burden. We're really fucking good at home. The weather will probably be shit in mid April and I don't trust our run game to win is a game in shit weather.

Warmack could have easily been another defender though, Ajayi has to take better care of the ball

Dug has been real good at scripting the first 15 plays. For the playoffs just script the whole game
