Romo's not leaving his lifetime appointment to the broadcast booth to be Nick Foles's backup. Kaepernick, sure, but again, he hasn't played at all, I'm not sure how much better I'd feel if Foles went down and you had to trot him out there.

Basically, at this point, I think anybody you're signing off the street is hardly an upgrade over what you have. At least Sudfeld has been around all year.

Having seen Kapernick last he was a starter, he was
awful in terms of accuracy or lack thereof and decision
making.

However. Lurie took a gamble on Vick. It would be
tremendous PR and endear Birds to a lot of African
American players league-wide. Foles can't move.

Kap presents a new option. Big arm and can run. Could
be like when RC came in on certain 3rd downs at the last
of Jaws.

I think 3 games could get Foles sharper. Maybe win 1
playoff game at home after bye week. But Kap for
situational or backup not worst idea.

Couldn't sleep so I re-watched this game. Pretty amazing game, despite.

My main takeaway was what a beast Gurley is. Imagine the Eagles and Wentz with someone even close to that.

And between that and McVay's scheming, I didn't see anything special from Goff, who made three or four horrendous throws that could have cost them the game. Jury very much still out on that guy being more than a system QB imo

Cox was a monster and Curry abysmal
