yea bad fumble and defense wasn't as good as usual. that fumble was huge

You played big balls all year not sure they decided to change that tonight... I think Minnesota loses once yet so we probably have to win out... Raiders may be playing for their division Xmas night too

I really am not freaking out at the prospect of playing a road playoff game at Minnesota or Los Angeles

1 3 and out for the offense tonight and that was the series where Wentz missed Nellie, frustrating loss because it felt like they were the better team most of the game

don't like dug's answer for the punt at the end of the 1st half. "we were getting the ball to start the 2nd". use the double score to your advantage that's why you deferred.

i don't think dug is stubborn he'll learn from this but stepping up in class on a night when it isn't coming easy those situations are yuge.

The end of 1st half decision was very weird. Likely gave up 3 for no reason. Not that it would have mattered ultimately

Best play of wentz career on that 3rd down throw near right sideline. He wasnt that bad esp given pressure in that stadium, shows how consistently good hes been that we consider that a down game. Too many big mistakes tho, and the fumbling is a concern. Had a ton of fumbles last yr too iirc

Don’t think that team can beat the Eagles twice either.

Having attended two Phillies/Dodgers NLCS games in Los Angeles (where the crowd was probably 20% Phillies fans), I would expect the Eagles to have a large contingent of fans at that game. Possibly 50/50...

It's not like that game was a formula for how to beat us. Have a QB who is smart and athletic enough to make plays, force D penalties, tire out the D, chew up clock to keep ball from offense...all at home.

The reason they lost is the same reason they had been able to blow out teams every week. Missed big plays, turnovers and questionable decisions.

Honestly, its become a complete cliche to say that whenever we lose the problem was "the playcalling" . If you flip 2 plays - Wentz's fumble into the endzone and Doug's failure to challenge the lateral, I think we win.
