I am barely represented in any office of government.

That appears to have been a closer race.

Bush won the popular vote by a lot more than Trump will (if Trump wins it at all). And he won Ohio by a lot more than Trump will win any of the tipping point states. Wasn't really that close. But the early exits showed Kerry winning, so I guess his shop had a hard time adjusting. Also he's a piece of crap.

Sorta doubt Hillary even had a concession speech written for tonight. They didn't spend a single day campaigning in Wisconsin. They had no idea this was coming. I mean, I didn't either, but they had way more data than anyone on either side. The post mortems are going to be really interesting.

How can you beat someone for whom the truth is not a standard that they have to meet?

PA to Trump, leads 288-218*

(* with 1 more remaining in Maine)

16 = Michigan
10 = Minnesota
4 = New Hampshire

So yep, over 300 if he gets Michigan too

Currently, the margin in Illinois is 16%. It is also 16% in South Carolina. South Carolina was light red for many minutes tonight...

Glad he took the high road with Clinton at least in this speech. Hopefully his handlers can keep him under control.

Not that I've watched a lot of Trump's speeches but I'm guessing that was his best speech tonight

Trump as president is manageable. The degenerates coming with him like Guliani and Pence and Christie are the parts I cannot stomach.

You and anyone else who voted against Hillary don't know what you've done. Don't you realize the Republicans are now going to make it impossible to change the system for the better? You won't have any government branch to stop voter suppression. There's no one left to stop the interests of big money, big oil, big business, religious zealotry, climate change deniers, polluters, big banks, Minority haters, misogynists and all the other forces corrupting the American dream.

Gerrymandering will continue and worsen; today's deficit and debt will look like warts next to the mountains to come; our allies will be snubbed and the Russians will be courted. Healthcare will become more and more an unattainable goal for tens of millions; a good, free public education for all -- the bedrock of democracy and equality -- will see its greatest attack ever, regulations protecting you and your family's health and safety will recede; free speech and freedom of religion for anyone other than Christians will be imperiled; bullying of anyone who doesn't fit the norm will skyrocket; marriage equality and abortion rights will be threatened.

In short, the very culture and institutions you've taken for granted and think you'll use to effect change will be eroded beneath your feet. The progressive cause has been set back decades, if not generations. Hope and help for those who can't help themselves in this country -- especially if you're a minority, LGBT, or anyone else who doesn't look or act like the majority -- is about to undergo its greatest challenge in decades.

No trophies are going to be awarded for your participation. There are no more safe spaces. We've just opened the gates and invited the barbarians in. Anyone who thinks they're going to sit down for tea and cookies and a chat about how we can change the system for the better is in for a rude awakening.

I've never been more scared for the future of this country -- and your future as young Americans -- than I am at this moment. It's kind of touching and pathetic to see you think we can all now just join hands and sing Kumbaya.

So it's come to this. This really happened. We are a nation of ignorant, inbred fucktwits. Sadly, some of whom are in my own family and claim to be "Christian", whatever that even means anymore. I now no longer feel guilty for having never liked them in the first place. You reap what you sow, America. We as a nation deserve whatever shit happens because of this. I am completely disgusted by this country right now.

Well I woke up hoping for a miracle. When my wife wakes up I have to be the one to tell her that he won. I'm not looking forward to that

I am pretty put off with my neighbors flying their flag upside down. Have the good grace to just put a Trump sign in the front yard.

A month ago I let that be known... sometime after 11PM the Trump sign showed up on their lawn to let us know how smart they are.
