I don't like to use Hitler comparisons, but I'll break my own rule right here to note that Donald Trump Facebook streaming some kind of press conference with Paula Jones et. al. an hour and half before the debate feels like what it would have been like if Hitler live streamed from his bunker about their future battle plans as the Soviets entered Berlin.

This has gone from bad to worse to pathetic to humiliating to depraved with alarming alacrity.

There are no good options, and there's no salvaging the downballots either way. Either you'll get torched tied to Trump or get torched (probably worse) backing away and having Trump attack you as well as the Democrats. But at this point I don't see how Ryan and McConnell can continue to support him tomorrow morning. Might cost the House as well as the Senate but how do you even pretend?
