After he gets humiliated, I think he'll get bored with politics and the parties will be back to their same general lines by 2018 mid-terms. Just my take.

We can't allow that. The GOP must always be linked with the party that nominated Trump until it actually cleans its shit up.

I think it depends on how the Republican establishment handles the Trump base after the election. If they go back to business as usual, I fully expect another Trump-like candidate in 2020.

As a party, you can not keep enabling this portion of your voters because we saw this year how much power they have within the party. What's to stop them from voting for Trump-like candidates?

The party has to do some soul searching and decide what they stand for going forward. I already know the answer to this but how long can they continue to alienate non-white voters and now women before the party is reduced to the alt-right completely taking over the party.

This is the real problem facing the Republicans down the road--Trump may disappear after November 8, but Trumpism is likely to be a force in Republican Party politics for quite some time. The tone may mellow a bit, but people like LePage and King and Christie and Giuliani are not going anywhere. People like Tom Cotton may succeed in re-unifying the party, but if that happens then I think you're looking at a party that will be a regional party at best. I suspect Rubio and Cruz and others of their ilk are done.

I wonder if Kasich makes a run in 2020, and if will he be forgiven by the JH types for contributing to Trump's nomination.

Plus there will be 4 years of hate directed at Hillary being president

If congress continues to block everything like tweak the ACA and get a infrastructure bill going then we're looking at more of the same

Tom Cotton is terrifying. I'd rather have a Donald Trump in 2020 than someone like Cotton.

So Lou Dobbs retweeted a post that included the personal contact information of the 74-year-old woman accusing Trump of sexual assault.

Remember when he wasn't a partisan whackjob? I can't recall how long ago that was, or maybe I just didn't notice it back then. What transformed him into this xenophobic zealot? Was it 9/11, the rise of Obama, or something else?

Rush is at it again, trying to make himself relevant.

It makes me nauseous that conservatives would find this idea outlandish. (It's also bizarre that people who allegedly support the idea of personal freedom would be against this concept.)

"You know what the magic word, the only thing that matters in American sexual mores today is? One thing," the conservative commentator said, according to audio released by Media Matters for America. "You can do anything — the left will promote and understand and tolerate anything — as long as there is one element. Do you know what it is? Consent.

"If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it's perfectly fine. Whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there's no consent in part of the equation, then here come the rape police. But consent is the magic key to the left."

Yes Rush, if there's no consent, it's rape. This isn't a difficult concept.

So Curt Schilling just asked a female FOX host if she's fantasized about someone else's son in order to defend Trump's comments about that 10-year old girl.
