My mistake. I looked back at the tweet. I must've just said it to someone. What I tweeted at Costa was this:

@costareports he will never ever ever subject himself to discovery on this.

The other stuff is horrible, but can be explained away with "She's lying!," and "Why did she wait 3 decades?," and "It's boys being boys!"

But showing that he looked at a 10 year old girl and immediately had sexual thoughts about her? That's got to be the worst thing yet, right?
It's bad but at least it's just thoughts/words. Far less powerful than the first hand accounts of his actual sexual assaults.

Didn't realize there's video. Goddamn he's so gross.

I guess I don't agree that it's not worse. Either way, it shows a complete lack of self control. But with the young girls (and the teen pageants) he's showing an interest in girls who are underage. Few women are voting for Trump at this point and the men who still are can at least sympathize with wanting to kiss someone. The fact that he pushed himself on someone and kissed them is reason for criminal charges, and in that sense it's worse, but the men who are still voting for him can probably explain that away somewhat. But those same men will probably be really turned off with the pedophile stuff. Walking through a teen pageant dressing room and then bragging about it? Ugh. Saying you're going to date a 10 year old? Double ugh. I think those two things will do more than the adult women to turn off the men still supporting him. Maybe I'm wrong.

Jennifer Palmieri is herself a Catholic. She is a liberal one and dislikes the conservative strain of Catholicism. This division has been at the heart of the religion for decades now. Newsflash! Other staffers sent emails back and forth about gender inequality within the church.

This means Hillary Clinton hates Christians.

Fake accounts with real client money having their funds moved around without their knowledge to orchestrate fees (like bounced checks) = profit for Wells = more grow perception = increased stock valuation = client fraud

Greater market penetration as represented by counting accounts backed up by new revenue streams built on essentially fraud = compensation triggers for senior company executives

Bake in firing of ~5000 hourly employees scapegoats (they might not all have been innocent, pure or hourly wage slaves) because of the implementation of the deception, then the problems would seems to fertilize more problems.

OK. Got it. I guess my take then is that the harmed people were the Wells Fargo shareholders. You might be able to make an argument that the lower level employees were harmed if you assume that the incentive comp that was paid to execs would have gone to them though my own take is that that's not a strong argument. But neither existing accountholders nor the taxpayers were harmed as best as I can trace out. But agree that the Wells Fargo shareholders were definitely defrauded.

of course they've been harmed- THEY HAD MONEY MOVED INTO THESE FRAUDULENT ACCOUNTS WITHOUT CONSENT, it caused bounced checks and more fees and interest

My bad....you are right. NYTimes reports that it came to light when accountholders started getting fee charges.

in strange stories from phone banking i called a 'maura' and a male voice answered and said he was maura. i almost laughed at the Transparent parallel but soldiered on understanding this dude probably just didn't want me talking to his wife. he then said he (maura) changed his mind and supports trump. great, thanks bye!

perhaps. i don't expect that at this juncture, though.

it doesn't seem that the Houthis are exactly 'right', though, either. it's their 2nd civil war in 20 years where they currently have two capitals and two forces controlling two parts of the country. it's become a proxy war for SA-Iran. Unfortunately we are tangled in it but we do need to respond proportionally if missiles are sent our way. We've been targeting Al Queda, not them. You can dislike signature drone strikes but still view other targeted strikes as necessary tools.

damnit, I need to drink more coffee, or drink it more slowly. The CNN talking box was just amazing. They were talking to a Dem and Repub leader from Utah. The GOP guy asked when they are going to interview Bill's illegitimate son on CNN. That's only fair he said. The host said something like, 'come on there is on proof of this', he went on and I am about 90% sure she dumped the segment on her own.

Giuliani apologized about the 9/11 thing. Actually nice to see that happen for once.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.
