Maybe because McGinty +3 is something someone could look at and say 'yeah seems like it could be right'. One that's -8 and 12 from Hillary/Trump just seemed off on its face compared to other polls lately.jerseyhoya wrote:And the Franklin & Marshall/Morning Call poll, which got posted and not picked apart because it showed good news for the D's, has the Senate race at 41%-35% McGinty, which is fucking garbage. A quarter of the electorate is not undecided five weeks out.

No reason both can't be wrong though.
I'd totally agree that a 5ish point deficit is nothing to make up for Toomey. He hasn't exactly tied himself to Trump this campaign.jerseyhoya wrote:JUburton wrote:Maybe because McGinty +3 is something someone could look at and say 'yeah seems like it could be right'. Three polls this week, two of them have Toomey running double digits ahead of Trump. We won't know what reality is until election day. You may choose to believe the one that makes you happy. I don't think that 'we know' Toomey is probably toast if Clinton wins PA by 6+ points.

learn your lesson from 2012/Romney?
Kelly seemed to throw the first punch at Hannity last week after the first presidential debate when she remarked, “We’ve got Trump speaking to our own Sean Hannity. We’ll see whether he speaks to the journalists in the room after that interview.”
