not a huge hot take. it does not seem like a great format for him. there aint going to be lipsync battles or carpool karaoke on his late show. and he's a great interviewer when he cares about the topic but you can tell he doesn't give a shit about some guests.

full frontal is great and probably better than last week tonight.

Colbert has gone through a bunch of "fun segments" that just haven't worked. That's the difference with his show. His Midnight Confessions is good. Also the band is meh. All the other late night shows have some sort of sidekick too. I usually just DVR it for the news at the beginning and if there is a guest I like.

I just spend a few minutes each week watching clips from all the late night guys on YouTube. Can't remember the last time I watched an entire late night show.

As much as I think it's pretty cool tech, I can't see any practical use for an Amazon Dash button that saves enough hassle to make it worth while. And that got me looking through the list, and what I found were some really laughable inclusions. I mean who uses that much Mentos or Slim Jims that they need to order on-demand at the push of a button?
