It appears to be a separation between the occipit (skull base) and the atlas (top vertebra) internally. I don't think there's much associated soft tissue damage. No other details because the mother on the phone was frantic. Gets to the scene and the mother is holding the baby wrapped in a blanket. He asks to see the baby. She hands it to him and the baby's head falls off and rolls across the kitchen floor. The boyfriend got mad at the mom about something so chopped the baby's head off with a meat cleaver. Paramedic quit that day.
