I'm determined to finish the NYT crossword puzzle before I go to bed, but I'm also drinking rum and colas since it's "Drink Like a Pirate" day. I'm not sure the two activities are dovetailing in an optimal way.

I named my network " Scottsdale_access_111pd" it scared the shit out of my neighbors, granted most of them are dancers and dealers.

Most of my "known" relatives growing up were from my mother's side- my maternal grandmother's side, to be specific. And pretty much everyone in Rox/Yunk is a cousin of some sorts. I've always wanted to figure out how I'm related to a lot of people whom I was told was a "cousin". Specifically I knew very little about my maternal grandmother's side (who apparently grew up in Tacony (?) on Milnor Streets, near where now is apparently the "Bada Bing Sports Bar".) So a dude I grew up with was doing all this research and gave me a bunch of listing of stuff he found out about my family (one of his relatives married on of my dad's relatives somewhere along the line).

So now it's a pretty cool research project. It's fun trying to track things down!

Oh, and my great-grands all emigrated from Poland (dad's side) and Italy (Mom's side). So once I crack the 4 generations of the 4 trees, I'll have to upgrade to "international" ancestry.com and donate even more to the Mormons.
