I find it preferable to take all my naps in sensory deprivation float tanks. #lifehacks

well i'd have to obviously be pretty tired to take a 3 hr nap. these usually come naturally, when i absolutely must pass out, but theres enough time between then and the evening, so i find that i'm still able to sleep later too. i dont know, maybe youre all doing it wrong

Since my surgery, I've been taking a nap every afternoon. I think though it's starting to interfere a bit with my normal evening sleep as I was up at 4:30 this morning and had a tough time falling back to sleep.

My normal sleep is to go to bed around 11 and wake up at 6:15 and go running. But I've not really established a normal sleep routine since the surgery. I'm hoping I'm back in the class room in another week and then I'll have to establish a more normal sleep routine. I still of course won't be running for awhile.

I'd say if you feel like you must "pass out" in the middle of the day, sleep for 3 hours and can still fall asleep at night, you might consider seeing a sleep specialist. Sounds like a sleep disorder to me.

So I didn't mention this but if I have a couple hours between calls and no pressing business at work, I will sneak a power nap in. I just got down for 45 min and goddamn that was great. Bring on the weekend ya bish

do you ever think about a moment in the past and can't distinguish if it happened in this reality or was imagined lucidly in a dream? crazy.

I've been on a tolerance break lately and I've been having incredible dreams this week. I mean every time i've fallen asleep this week they've been super realistic and related to my life. like I am having a series of dreams where I meet people from my past for coffee and catchup, it's really weird. The stuff that we are talking about is all real too, because I know what's up from their facebook posts, so I'm sitting there in my dream and my buddy dave from elementary school is telling me story based on the few lines of text of a facebook post from last month. It's nuts, I've started wondering who I'm going to catch up with as I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep.

I'm with Napalm, 2-3 hour naps own. Must be a stoner thing. 15-30 minute naps never work. I just end up closing my eyes and not even falling asleep most of the time and if I do, I don't feel refreshed at all. I'm still tired and now I'm groggy.
