Gonna go with probably not.

He could win because I guess anything could happen. But it'd need to be Cruz or Trump for Sanders to have anything approaching the chance a generic Dem would have against a generic Republican this cycle.

Sadly he probably won't be the nominee so we won't get to see this tested. Although the more the email stuff drags on and no one else jumps in, it becomes increasingly sorta plausible.

Say what you will about Bernie, but his campaign has been by far the most successful so far. People are talking about him and not just far lefties, either. He's got a lot of "libertarians" on his side as well. The fact that he's the only candidate out there that is fighting for 2 of the things people most want(income equality and campaign finance reform) shouldn't be overlooked.

I still think he'll lose to HRC, but his ceiling has gone from "maybe making a few states interesting and make HRC campaign on far left issues" to "maybe challenging for the nomination". Gotta keep the momentum going.

On the Dem side, he's still getting crushed by Hillary. On the GOP side DONALD TRUMP (god save us) has captured the imagination of the American media and some segment of the voting populace as well.

His ceiling is still very much the former. Unless Hillary gets charged with a crime or something.

Yeah, his meteoric rise in the polls is nothing and should be discounted by the guy who was sure Romney was would win in 2012. Hope you're as right on this one, buddy.

Looking Back on the Trump Presidency

Maybe Trump was a mirror, and we hated him because we hated what we saw in our reflection.

I'd vote for a ticket of Bernie Sanders/Anthony Weiner over Trump.

I'd vote for Bill Maher/Rosie O'Donnell over Trump.

Trump makes Hillary look like Joan of Arc

What is Joan of Arc's position on the Iran deal

He could win because I guess anything could happen. But it'd need to be Cruz or Trump for Sanders to have anything approaching the chance a generic Dem would have against a generic Republican this cycle.

Sadly he probably won't be the nominee so we won't get to see this tested. Although the more the email stuff drags on and no one else jumps in, it becomes increasingly sorta plausible.

I am honestly curious, did you use "sadly" because you think any GOP candidate would have a cake walk to the White House if they were against Bernie or because you actually like Bernie? Or both?

I said I'd vote for him over Sanders. Probably would end up voting Libertarian or hoping someone ran third party though.

I would like to know about actual libertarians who support Sanders.
