THanks for the tip, I got two Slimfold Tyvek wallets (I figure I can keep my cash and most-used cards in one and the other cards that I don't need every day but really ought to have with he in the other), and the two with everything in them, stacked, are about the same thickness as my old wallet empty.

They're not great-looking but in the black-grey style they're unobtrusive and I don't really give a shit anyway.

Not even going to mention the last thing bc it was a big deal and she felt awful. not doing that for attention, i just won't talk bad about her there bc it was such a fucking mess.

but tonight, i get home and my wife says that her mom gave us the wrong dates for when her family is coming into town from texas. we see them once a year, its the closest my mother-in-law has to a family, so it's a big deal they're here. so today we find out the date is the night we are taking my parents out to dinner to a nice place, just to thank them occasionally for my mom watching my daughter one day a week and all the other stuff they do that they don't need to. Well, the actual date is the day we're supposed to take my parents out, something we've planned for a couple months and wasn't easy to put together. But this is the only time we get to see these people. So, ok, it sucks, but she gave my wife shit when my wife was pissed. i was livid. She messed up, when my wife said we had plans, she still gave her shit. I don't even know on what level she operates on. if my wife wasn't in the same mindset with this shit i don't even know
