kind of a weird distinction but i had the best chicken caesar salad of my life for dinner at Varga Bar. i think it's the first i've had with anchovies. there was a ton of chicken in it. they use polenta croutons, and they were the tastiest croutons i've ever had. such low bars to clear but they did it.

My wife is going to visit her family in jersey and taking the kids. She is only going to be gone for one night, but I am unreasonably excited to have the house to myself tonight. I have no idea what in going to do, probably just drink beer and watch the phillies, but still.

Nah man, no pizza. I got some bratwurst and hot sausages, I'm gonna grill that up with some peppers and onions, wash it all down with some fat tire while sitting out on the deck. It's going to be own private sausage party.
