When I first started drinking coffee, the closest place to me was a Chevron so I would go there to get coffee regularly. They give your a free cup for every 5 you buy. Anyway, I moved away from there and had a full punch card for a free cup. I now live close to a Chevron so I decided to get a free cup today. Now I realize their coffee tastes like burnt chalk. Got through about 1/4 of it before I had to chuck it.

Anyone have any tips on how to find a good garage to do my PA inspection? Seems like it would be a good opportunity for a garage to screw you over, bring you car in for inspection then make up a bunch of little dumb things that you have to have repaired in order to pass.

yeah, key is finding someone you trust. Most indy mechanics fall into this category, in my experiences. One life lesson that took me way too long to figure out is DON'T EVERY USE THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR. I used to live next to a shop (the owner had the same last name as me but we're unrelated, oddly enough). That was obviously super convenient. Then when we moved, I spent a couple years back at the stealership. Big Mistake. Now I got hooked up with a mechanic who lives a couple miles from me but his shop is about 10 miles away. So I drop my car in his driveway late night/early morning, and he drives it to his shop, and I retrieve it at the end of the day. Even lets/encourages me to source my own parts, since I can usually get them somewhere online way cheaper than he can get them from his suppliers.

Where is your new town again? I've got a friend who's brother has a shop somewhere down there. You can show up and say "I know a guy who knows your brother". Will surely get you a good deal!!!

My mechanic is about 200yds from my work. Super convenient.
