still think you should prob head to the ER. If something actually is broken you'll want to get it wrapped up sooner rather than later and get an appointment with a doc scheduled post haste.

and call allen rothenberg he'll meet you at the ER

Mid Sat morning is probably pretty quiet in the ER--most of the ODs and stabbing victims have gone home.

True story about Allen Rothenberg. He came into the CVS I worked at a few years ago looking for some obscure item. He asked me if we had said item, and I told I didn't think we carried it. He demanded to speak to my manager and proceeded to berate her for what felt like 15 minutes. He then demanded that she buy him a new egg and cheese breakfast sandwich because his got cold while he was looking for the product we didn't have. All the while he was telling anyone who would listen that he was, in fact, Allen Rothenberg, the injury lawyer.

Take away--if someone says "you should be a lawyer" they're telling you you're an asshole.

Ahhh, I shall tell my Tale Of Rothenberg once again.

My org umpired the Lawyer's softball league (they still do, actually). At one point Rothenberg had a team in the league.

The total umpire's fee at that time was $28. Each team would pay half. I worked their game about 2/3 of the way through the season, so it wasn't like it was new info. When taking the ground rules, I asked the captains for their $. He said "how much?" I said "fourteen dollars". He proceeded to count of 7 one-dollar bills and hand them to me. I said "it's fourteen". He said "right, so I'll give you seven and he'll give you seven".

He was his team's pitcher, and proceeded to to bitch about every call that didn't go his way. Total douche.

I probably broke a bone in my foot playing softball (yeah, I know) a few years ago. Rolled my ankle and it felt like someone was holding a torch to my foot. My whole foot swelled up about 3 times normal size and was eggplant purple for days. Didn't go to the ER and it took quite a while before I had full ROM, but I'm back to normal now. Barry, you don't need no stinkin' ER.

This is pretty much what it looked like after a week or so (note: not my actual foot)

real talk, going to the ER would cost me weeks of sick time I don't have and since I'm re-starting a job on Monday i'm Not Going To Do That

also, the only thing they can do for me is prescribe me painkillers for a couple weeks while my foot heals. i'll wear my bigass boots every day and find a hookup and it'll cost me less. thanks Obama

not so much that but if you go to the ER you can't go back to work for the city until you're cleared by the city's employee health services center at 19th and Fairmount. making an appointment would take at least a few days and probably longer

I bought some shoes on zappos, and they didn't fit. I know returns are easy, but I want to exchange. In the little text box, I requested that. Are they just going to send me the bigger shoes?

took the pooch on Main Street. Female went out of here way to avoid him and said he looks scary. I had my headphones in but the music turned down low and shot right back that he's a boxer and very excitable, but thanks for the observation. Enjoy your overpriced Derek's brunch.

I'd guess you're in the 95th percentile, or 5th depending on how you figure it. Meaning that's really fast. It's normally 1:15 to 1:30 for me.
