Got three boxes of VHS I'm gonna convert to DVD so I can dump the tapes. Is this Toshiba DVR620 a good method? I really don't think I wanna futz with copying to a PC and then out to DVD. I have always ended up with video/audio sync problems when I've tried that in the past.

It's mostly every Joel-era MST3K episode. Don't know why I'm saving them, really, but I want to get rid of the tapes and copying to DVD pacifies the pack rat in me while allowing me to de-clutter....

you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Going to have to give them a try on next the next trip to the homeland. Vegatable oil tho. :/ it seems like grandma utz is the last of the dying breed that cooks their chips in lard. I've been throughout the us and berks/lancaster county region is the epicenter of Americas finest chips.

Oh, haha, got it. I actually start with the code in my Bookmarked tab (which starts with my favorites). I thought it would stick through my entire session. (I'll probably get a used on on ebay anyway, as far as this goes). But Maybe not.

I read elsewhere that Dbach is also lard fried. That is the key to the best chips.... until someone figures out to use duck fat or tallow.

Animal fats > vegetable fats.

When I roast a chicken or turkey, I save the fat and use it instead of oil or butter. Did it with my Christmas ham, too. MMMMM lard.

Yeah, they're lard-fried. You probably read that from me. I've been pushing them since moving to Lebanon county.

Subaru has an ad where a tomboyish girl is using the lessons she learned from her Dad to change her tire. I feel like they know their market pretty well.

Well at least girls that wear very little to no makeup and don't own a razor.
