Holy heck, that's awful. Youseff's old boss too.

My neighbor is in his 70s, and has had major health problems for the past 13 years. Still kept active though, wearing his colostomy bag on his back. He cheated the reaper so many times I didn't think it would ever happen

The father of one of my kid's classmates died suddenly at 44 this past week and a former member of our running club committed suicide. Bad week for dying too soon.

Term. Whole only makes sense under pretty unusual circumstances. Also, I don't know what you mean by good coverage, but I think the general rule of thumb is your ten times your annual income, but under some circumstances you may need more. Or if you wife makes big piles of cash, maybe not as much.
