I don't really get the acid vs shrooms being more intense argument. you can do either in variable quantities. four hits of acid is more intense than half an eighth of shrooms but a full eighth will kick your ass more than two tabs. it's like saying beer or wine is more intense. depends how much you drink and how fast

the thing about spending money on the vintage MTG cards is they're only going to go up in price. Back when I was in HS a black lotus was like $300, they're about $2K now, but some of them are worth a shit ton more. Anything I buy I'll be able to sell back later at a huge mark up.

it's a little of both. "Just for nostalgia's sake" would be silly. In general, the price of magic cards has been soaring though. It used to be(and not that long ago) the best cards in any constructed formats topped out at $300, most in the $5-15 range. Now, people are dropping $25 a pop on cards that are only worth that much for 2 years tops in the "standard" format and the vintage and legacy format cards have gone up in price almost 10 fold.

when i say acid is more intense, i mean that acid is more visual while shrooms is more cerebral.

eh, either way I'd be pretty psyched to have the cards. I say all of this but the 99% likely think that's going to happen is I'll print proxies of the cards and play the decks with my friends.

i remember i had one dragon card that was rare. at least my young self believed it to be.

I want to do shrooms so bad right now. Did them on e on WV camping. Had a smore that i thought was going to kill me. Also I was laughing so loud that I kept telling everyone I was black bolt the inhuman. This one kid from another camp was so amazed at me that he was taking me around his camp introducing me to everyone as black bolt the inhuman.

Later on, I sat terrified in my tent that I was going to die because this other got that was drunk, high, shroomed and on adderall/pain killers. He came up to my tent whispering that he was going to burn my tent down. The entire camp was sleeping nd I was still coming down. He doesn't remember saying that.

if you made any trades with people who knew what they were doing you probably got fucked over. It's shitty how often kids get taken advantage of.

i never made trades. i didnt even really play. i probably couldnt recall how to at this point. this is the card i have. doesnt seem like a card that would get me any money though.
