Silver has that Quentin Tarantino affectation where he says "right?" after every other sentence.

I had one black prof for econ 10X. My advisor was Indian and there was an Asian guy for an advanced topic political science class I took by mistake (prof was part of a Japanese PM campaign and was never in class). That was it. Everyone else was pasty white.

this is, of course, not always true

and depends on what you call an 'activity'

Syria threatening to use chemical weapons on its people...that will be the 'red line' they cannot cross, according to Secretary Clinton

Boehner wants to 'fix' Medicare by simply making less people eligible for it and making everyone else wait longer, when the opposite should happen. it's an insurance program, rich people paid into it too. denying them medicare or offering less service seems wrong to me.

crazy-ass conservative Republican Senators defeat ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Santorum leads the charge in opposition (take that, Santorum's disabled daughter). Naturally, looney Toomey also voted against.

It's ratification of a non-binding UN treaty, ffs. Why are you incompetents always kicking yourself in your own crotch alla time?
