The Black Panthers roaming the voting polls needs to be addressed though. That is completely unacceptable.
what do you do
they didnt do anything, so nothing
It is definetly intimidating to votes and your lying to yourself if you don't believe that. You would be calling bullshit if the KKK was standing there.

are you serious? theyre not going into the booths. they held the doors open ffs. you're an idiot
Almost all the calls we're getting are from angry and/or scared GOPers alleging various forms of voter fraud and intimidation. There are people calling from out of state to report that very same Black Panther guy posted in the photos upthread. He's like 70 and he's not doing anything, he is literally just standing there and smiling and greeting people politely and holding the door open for old ladies. But we're getting calls from New Jersey breathlessly claiming he intimidated them (and then upon further questioning it becomes blatantly apparent that these people are nowhere near Philly -- one woman angrily told the ADA on the phone to "bite her ass" and hung up as soon as she was uncovered as a fake caller). It's ridiculous.
I had to go out on a call that complained (1) Democrats were pressuring voters to vote in a certain way by handing out pre-marked sample ballots (this is/was true, but it's legal in PA, and people have a free choice whether they want to take that sample ballot or not) and GOP operatives were not being given a fair opportunity to respond (this was not true, the GOP just chose not to send anyone to that polling place, either because they didn't have enough volunteers/material or because they reasonably calculated that a black neighborhood in West Philly was not going to be a worthwhile place for them to put their resources); and (2) a poll worker was improperly accompanying voters into the booth and telling them to vote Democratic.
It turned out that a poll worker WAS accompanying voters into the booth and reading the options aloud to people, because this particular polling station served a senior citizens' residential complex and virtually all the voters were in wheelchairs, had oxygen tanks, and/or were not able to see well enough to read the letters on the screen. So the poll worker had to help them stand and/or reach the machine and/or read the ballot for them. And then sometimes they would ask questions because they were old people and that's what they do, and the poll worker would try to explain things in a neutral, factual manner. I watched this happen a bunch of times and it was not improper at all.
Anyway it's been nutty, and it's kind of scary to me because these callers seem to be totally convinced that the numbers are really in their favor (maybe because of the unskewed polls alternate reality? I don't know) and the election is being "stolen" from them by various underhanded methods. Like they just can't accept that there's nothing illegal going on, and that people legitimately want to vote for Obama/Biden.
