Seems like it depends what moron is manning the polling place.

Call the board of elections in your county.

True on both parts, but I'd bet there's >95% chance that if Romney carries Ohio and Virginia that he wins. It's hard to see Romney winning those two and not North Carolina and Florida. After that, ANY win by Romney would get him to 270 or more (OH+VA+NC+FL+NH = 270 exactly). Finally, keep in mind that more Republicans voted early in Colorado than Democrats.

Hate to burst the latest Republican bubble, but votes cast early don't count any more than votes cast today.

Saw something awesome at the polls. An old lady who could not reasonably get out of a vehicle for some reason voted paper ballot for the car that bought her to the poll. There were election officials all over watching. Proud to see that effort to let her vote.

Voted for the first time in Delaware. There were people lined up on the sidewalk going into the school holding signs and handing out flyers. Then a really effeminate dude with green hair jumped out of the bushes and tried to give us something to vote for someone, I think, or maybe he was giving us discount vouchers for action park. The woman asked me for my ID when I got inside. I told her I thought we didn't need id, she responded that photo id isn't required but you need Id to vote. So I gave her my dl. Whatever. Let my son hit the buttons for me in the voting booth, he thought it was cool.

I voted for Obama, I wasn't nearly as into him as I was last time, but I just got nothing from Romney. I felt like I couldn't understand a lot of what he stood for, because he switched direction a lot, and granted I did not pay super close attention to most of the campaigning, mostly tried to read the news on Sundays. Then the things that I did grasp that Romney is for, I disagree with. Gay rights, abortion, birth control. Anyway go Obama, hope you win!

also, holy crap, dont trust gawker's 'reporting'. they put my email up word for word without corroborating my story or even responding to me. yeesh, luckily i only read that site for fun, but it seems like some people get their news from it. gossip at its worst. yeah, what i was said was what happened, but ANYONE could make up ANYTHING and they'd just put it up on their front page.

cool stuff. it really does seem like the ease of voting is entirely based on the luck of who is manning hte polls in your area. one place could have some great people, and then another one has some real schmucks that make everyone feel uneasy with the process.

we should really just create a national holiday for voting and get this stuff in order.
