Up to 4 F's out of the first 12. Amazing how I can spend an entire class going over how to do something AND there's a great example in the book of how to do it, and people just do something completely different.

get used to it. it'll happen every time. there are times where i'd put an exact replica of one of the problem on the board before they started and there would still be 5-10% of the class getting it wrong.

5-10%? Damn, that's good. I had people tell me they had never done a problem type after doing it in my lab AND in class.
