get used to it. it'll happen every time. there are times where i'd put an exact replica of one of the problem on the board before they started and there would still be 5-10% of the class getting it wrong.


5-10%? Damn, that's good. I had people tell me they had never done a problem type after doing it in my lab AND in class.

i mean, i would have how to do the problem literally sitting on the chalkboard while they were doing the "lab".

Haha, I was feeling bad for giving five of the 24 kids F's in my one section, and just talked to one of the other TAs in my class and she failed 10 of 19 in one class.
