this dude behind me at the diner was talking about Splenda like it was a new thing to his friend. He was calling it "yellow" for slang, but this was a legit 10 minute lecture on the scientific breakdown and benefits of Splenda

Like how Splenda (sucralose) has more in common with DDT than with food? That it's part chlorine?

(Sucralose was accidentally discovered by scientists working on pesticide formulas, it's chlorocarbon-ness is why it has no calories... the body doesn't recognize it as food)

had to call the community college regarding needles that were on their property so they could be cleaned up, since i wasnt about to pick them up
