in other news, they're putting a new water main in on my street, so it's hard to get in and out. Monday I ran out of stamps, I had no other errands to run, so I said why not order them from usps.com. figure they'd source it locally at the local post office, and my carrier would bring them the next day. HA. They shipped them from Kansas City. That was Monday. They're still not here yet. Just standard first-class stamps. FFS. No wonder they're bleeding cash.

I'm not sure I fully understand the point of Netflix anymore. First off, I can get a lot of stuff on Xfinity. Second off, 7.99 a month? Great. But when I cancel, I immediately get dragged back with a one-month free trial. I can basically set up like 15 different e-mails and keep getting free trials. I don't even know why anyone would pay for it with the rules they currently have in place. Anyway, off the soapbox

I think there's a decent chunk of people who subscribe to Netflix instead of Xfinity or FiOS or whatever. And at $8/month it's not worth the trouble of dealing with 15 different email accounts to keep getting free trials, IMO.

The juggling 15 email addresses to avoid paying $8 a month is something college me would have seen as perfectly reasonable though, and I'd probably wonder how come everyone else didn't do it

Once you have to pay rent (or a mortgage I imagine) and stuff like that the $8 a month is a rounding error and not worth the hassle if you like the service
