The ESPN connection just shows that they didn't do any due diligence on a freelance writer who writes for a website that attracts people who think humor comes in the form of Willy Wonka memes or something.

She/the other dude scammed a bunch of idiots who have Twitter accounts based on fake people. Don't trust people you don't know on the internet that say you can make big money on the internet.

I think that's the best part. She and this other guy scammed all these terrible parody accounts in hopes that they could be used to promote an unfunny sport website whose content was stolen from some other dope. On top of it she scammed her way into getting paid real money from Espn.

People do stupid things for money, although I think he/she is trying to cover gambling losses more than anything. Just a hunch.
