I don't mean to make light of injuries. actually not sure why I made it about money, it's more my frustration over the burden being on me to make sure a car isn't blazing a right hand turn without looking to see if anyone is walking. I almost got absolutely obliterated this morning. want to them to at least feel bad about it or maybe go to jail and hang themselves with a shoelace

I really don't understand people's elitist disdain of the olive garden. Yes, we get it. It's not authentic Italian food. You're also not an authentic connoisseur for pointing out the obvious. Get over yourself and have a breadstick.

I don't know about Olive Garden, having never eaten there. It does seem to push the quantity issue which always makes be suspicious. Applebee's is really bad. I actually think Ruby Tuesday's makes a good burger, and I love Buffalo Wild Wings. While I understand why chain restaurants tend to polarize people, I wonder if high end chains like Ruth's Chris and Oceanaire have the same effect. Or the latest Steven Starr restaurant for that matter. I guess Steven Starr is pretty polarizing.

Mrs. Vulture might be meeting Bill Clinton. I'm pretty sure I don't like this.

Olive Garden and most of the "casual dining" chain places, like TGI Friday's, Applebee's, Chili's, etc., sacrifice some quality for consistency, so a diner can have exactly the same meal in Podunk, IA as in NYC. Which isn't to say that they serve bad food necessarily, just that it's mass-produced. But OG has this pretense that's pretty off-putting.

Like JoePos said, it's things like the Times Square Olive Garden being packed. I guess people go because it's a safe choice. That's no way to live

years ago, mrs smooth was surprised to find she had extricated a forkful of sand from an olive garden spinach salad.

My parents couldn't visit me in State College on my 21st birthday weekend, so they came up the week before and we went to Olive Garden. My parents acted like it was my birthday and the waiter played along knowingly. So that was cool

I have a bit of a rep for being sort of an "everyman" around here, but Olive Garden is one of only two places I've ever sent a meal back. it's pretty bad imo

that said, I don't find anything really hilarious about that lady's quaint write-up

never been to olive garden. never had the urge.

i don't really get pasta much when i go out since i can cook comparable or better pasta at home. when i go out i like to get stuff that isn't easy/quick to make at home.

i'm pretty sure I've shared this here before, but I'm gonna say it again. When I was 19 a co-worker invited me and my then g/f to go up to NYC to go eat at this "good italian place" him and his g/f liked. That place, you guessed it, Olive Garden in Times Square. So we took a train into NYC, to eat at the most expensive Olive Garden in the country. I was pisssssssed.
man I drew all these penises for nothing - housh
