as a technical matter I don't believe you can use a knife to 'clip' anything

now you can certainly cut your toenails with a knife but that of course is insane do you know what kind of blood infections you could get your toes are filthy omg you disGUST me

you stick the knife in peroxide! and i don't think there is any better device to get deep into those corners with.

you're lucky then, those deep corners are just breeding grounds for ingrown toenails. i hate it when something just rubs against one of your toes, particularly the big ones and you're like ouch, wtf. then after a little investigating you find you have an ingrown nail. after that, you better be pretty handy with a knife or a trip to the doctor's office.
